I worked with Zoë for the Art and Humanities Research Council funded centre for public engagement Gateways to the First World War, at the University of Kent, between 2014 and 2019 for the centenary. As the centre manager Zoë was the most conscientious, capable and considerate colleague that one could ask for. Working with her was exciting and empowering, and whatever the challenges we faced, she could be relied upon completely in terms of meticulous support and friendly encouragement. When the project ended we were keen to find ways to work together again, and in 2021 we set up our own non-profit organisation, Star Creative Heritage, so that we could do just that. Zoe has worked with Wellgate Care and Wellgate Supported Living since 2020, initially providing support around HR administration and, since June 2021, managing our local authority framework applications and tenders and providing support with referrals administration.
Zoe’s support has been of huge benefit to us; she is highly organised with strong written skills and great attention to detail. Since starting work on our local authority tenders she has supported us to make nine successful applications; this has been vital to the growth of our company.
